OUR WEEK IN INSTAGRAM |

It was a short and sweet work week, as we welcomed our lovely PR Coordinator Heidi Turner back from her studious stint at Royal Roads University.

Our Montreal friends Lili is Brunette, Querelles, and Montreal in Style chimed in with their favorite products of the season. Merci, vous belles amies! 

Big Blue Denim from PLENTY arrived just in time for summer, adding a pop of color to this season’s wardrobe. 

There will be lots of great things on the horizon as we prep for the upcoming KNOWSHOW event in July and our friends at Lifetime Collective make themselves at home in their new head office!

We hope your week was short and sweet too. Happy travels for those going to the Sasquatch Music Festival this weekend!

OUR WEEK IN INSTAGRAM | 

Lots of familiar faces spotted with some familiar brands this week. Aside from Jessi Cruickshank, Nick Cannon, and George Strombo showing us some of their favorite products, the DCPR team has had a relatively pleasant week wrapping up last of the media previews. 

Our wonderful PR Coordinator Heidi has been hard at work hitting the books at Royal Roads University. We’ve missed her terribly and can’t wait for her to join us again next week. 

We hope everyone gets some well-deserved R&R this long weekend!

DCPR is back in Vancouver after a whirlwind of a week on the East coast. What great timing too, as we were graced with nothing but sunshine all week! The team continued with its media preview at the NLA headquarters.

This week in Instagram we stopped by Plenty’s Warehouse sale and met up with Social Media Director, Jenna Tauzon, and Vancouver Sun’s Web Editor, Aleesha Harris to talk about the MAJOR deals. You can see the video clip here. Hopefully some of you had the chance to check it out!

Tony from TORO magazine shared the above photo with us of his Coloud POP earbuds, as well as the men’s style tidbit, “Socks are the new ties.” We love that!

We leave you with this final post before the long weekend… Our week consisted of previewing our clients’ FW-13 collections (see Coloud and Instance above), testing out Slussen: the new ultimate party tool, and finally a meeting under the sun!

Tomorrow we’re kicking off Plenty’s big warehouse sale at The Vancouver Convention Centre - Hall C. Will we see you there?

We heard 20 degrees on Saturday…let’s hope these rumours are true.

This week our team made an appearance at the Lucian Matis fashion show in Toronto, had our first KNOWSHOW meeting (what’s up Summer 2014?), and strategized Lifetime Collective with designer, Reid Stewart. 

For any HBO Girls fans, you’d be excited to know that the girls have their own personalized Coloud headphones, great for listening to the newly released soundtrack with songs from Sleigh Bells, White Sea, and of course, Robyn.

We also have a new full-time intern with us this week, so say hello to Grace!

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in the city, so enjoy the start of Spring and Happy Friday.

This week we were at Plenty’s Kitsilano location for Plenty Favourites: Head in the Clouds spring fashion event. The event, hosted by FASHION Magazine editor, Joy Pecknold, featured a spring trends presentation modelled by the new Vancouver collective, The Style Common. We identified some of the top seasonal trends included in FASHION’s current issue (floral, black & white, monochromatic, mixed prints) and had each of the girls choose a look to compliment their personal style!

This week we were also on Global TV Toronto’s The Morning Show, showing off hot swimwear looks with L*Space. Watch the video

OUR WEEK IN INSTAGRAM |

This week we organized a media preview and party for the release of Ora Bags’ Spring collection. Media and friends of Ora met at Nouvelle Nouvelle in Vancouver’s Gastown to view the new line of leathers and take a peek at the Spring video, which can be viewed here. 

Our busy bee Toronto intern Caroline also held down the shop on the east coast, running errands at The Globe and Mail, and working on press for Coloud headphones (our new accessories brand from Sweden). 

Next event on our social calendar is Plenty’s ‘Head in the Clouds’ Spring fashion party, hosted by Fashion Magazine’s Joy Pecknold and blogger collective, The Style Common. Follow our updates next week with the hashtag #PlentyFavourites

It was a big week for Lifetime Collective: their online store launched the Spring collections, the women’s Amelia jumper made the pages of LOULOU Magazine, and we even found some street style snaps of men’s designer, Trevor Fleming. We also ran into photographer friend Ian Azariah who recently returned from a Bali trip, and KNOWSHOW GM, Perry Pugh (best wishes for the wedding this weekend)!

In last week’s post, we were just about to head out to The Parker Project, a Fall/Winter 2013 fashion showcase of The Parker Building’s brands. What you see above is some our blogger and stylist friends perusing the collections. What you don’t see is us taking advantage of the Tacofino truck that was parked right outside!

There’s also Malania wearing new L*Space fringe and standing in a pool of clear water in the Philippines (sigh…), and our latest Industry Insider interview with Fashion Editor at Sharp Magazine, Yang-Yi Goh.

We’re looking forward to the weekend and then having our whole team back in the office again next week —- Malania and Caroline are flying back to us! Happy Friday everyone.

We’re jealous of our Agency Director, Malania, this week, as she takes a brief adventure in the Philippines (see the L*Space she’s wearing above). The closest thing we are getting to tropical paradise back in Vancouver is listening to our exotic Because it’s Friday track by Solange!

We’re also anticipating the fast approaching launch of Lifetime Collective Spring/Summer 2013, which we’ll be breaking down by collection on our blog in the next week. See our variation of the men’s lookbook here.

This week we wrapped up our KNOWSHOW coverage with the last edition of KNOWSTYLE (see Sean Miller and Mana Mansour), which you can now read the recap on our blog along with the rest of the show events.

Back east, Lifetime Collective appeared in Quebec City’s Fashion Jam held during the Snowboard Jamboree, and MuchMusic’s Lauren Toyota got some wear out of Plenty’s Big Blue denim.
