GENERIC SURPLUS X STEVEN HARRINGTON |
THE DESERT BOOT
There is no stronger union than the bond between fashion and art. And what better way to honour this relationship than to present a unique debut collaboration between Generic Surplus and LA-based artist, Steven Harrington. Renowned for creating desert motifs that are infused with the Maya culture, with a penchant for the Mayan ancient legend of the thirteen lost crystal skulls, Harrington has teamed up with Generic Surplus to craft a contemporary interpretation of the desert boot showcasing his Native-inspired signature graphics. The new boot looks classic in tobacco brown beeswax leather, with an EVA sole and the distinctive Harrington prints embossed in dark earth on the insole and heel.
This exciting shoe collection is a collaborative first for the artist, who has already seen his prints beautifully presented on skateboards, T-shirts and galleries alike. The wait is nearly over and the Desert Boot will be available in the coming spring and summer months. Visit Generic Surplus to see more!
